For those who may be unfamiliar, Roy Henry Vickers is a world renowned, highly regarded artist and multi-hyphenate: author, sought-after keynote speaker, carver, painter, printmaker, and designer. Readers may already be acquainted with Roy Henry Vickers’ stunning collaborative work with Canadian author and oral historian Robert “Lucky” Budd in the children’s literature sphere. Vickers’ and Budd have co-created board book and picture book titles such as A is for Anemone, Cloudwalker, Hello Humpback!, Raven Brings the Light, and A Flock of Gulls, A Chorus of Frogs.

Some of the pages offer fuller pages black-inked images as a focus point, while other pages offer minimal grey outlines (with mountains, reflections, herons, moons, or eagles) to let colouring imagination really take off. With perforated pages, Inspired will allow colouring enthusiasts with the option to gently remove (or not1) their completed art and share or post.
