This quote. I love it so! I get a twitch in my eye every time someone associates shushing or crotchety mean ol’ librarians with libraries. Yes, there are grains of truth and history to those sad stereotypes…BUT! Today’s libraries (and librarians) are just so much more!
What a week. A beloved family member passed away a few days ago and it’s just been a sad and ugh kind of week. I hope to be back ASAP with some reviews. In the meantime, please enjoy Charlie Brown and Linus talking about libraries. Do you think most kids are a little scared of libraries and librarians?
